BC Interior housing market shows signs of life to buck trend of slower October
The B.C. Interior real estate market saw a rare October sales increase to 1,274, defying typical seasonal cooling. Central and North Okanagan single-family home prices rose, while townhome and condo prices mostly declined. South Okanagan condo prices rose, but other categories dipped slightly. Kamloops saw more listings and steady prices, while the Kootenays experienced strong sales growth and price increases, outperforming usual fall trends.
