Fast-tracking homes across B.C. with federal support

British Columbia and the federal government have partnered to secure $170 million federal and up to $200 million provincial capital funding, plus operating subsidies, to accelerate construction of over 700 supportive and transitional homes. The funding prioritizes projects ready to start within 12 months and unlocks additional provincial funds for 400 more homes using innovative methods like the DASH program, which streamlines and speeds up housing development.
