More homes, better infrastructure and stronger communities in British Columbia

In 2025, Canada invested heavily in housing and infrastructure, creating nearly 59,000 housing units and funding public projects nationwide. British Columbia received $2.36 billion for 8,867 homes, $1.5 billion for transit, and over $400 million for green projects. New initiatives include a $13 billion Build Canada Homes agency and a $51 billion Build Communities Strong Fund to support affordable housing and local infrastructure over the next decade.
